Cozy summer times
Summer Cozy Getaway with Accommodation in Motala Harbor
Take advantage of life’s pleasures and enjoy a delightful hotel stay together! Experience the fantastic marina environment in Motala Harbor, stroll along the quay, and visit the unique Motor Museum, which offers nostalgic memories from the past and exciting rides into the future!
End your day with a delicious grill-inspired evening buffet or a carefully prepared two-course menu. Choose from a variety of tasty fish and meat dishes, along with generous sides, flavorful sauces, and refreshing summer salads. After a fantastic dinner, settle down for a restful night in one of our comfortable double rooms. Wake up refreshed and enjoy a lovely hotel breakfast at your leisure.
(The grill buffet is set up on Fridays and Saturdays in June and August, as well as throughout July, weather permitting. When the grill buffet is not available, a well-prepared two-course menu will be served.)
In Motala and the surrounding area, there is plenty to discover; various museums, including the Motala Motor Museum (entry included in your stay), beautiful sandy beaches, walking and cycling along the Göta Canal, climbing, and fun for kids at Bill & Bulls Adventure Park, and much more.

Our restaurant, Restaurang Nostalgi, hosts various activities every weekend, such as champagne tasting, crayfish parties, Italian delicacy tastings, Oktoberfest, and cocktail evenings. Some events require booking, while others are drop-in based on availability.

Golf package at hotel Nostalgi
Golf, Golf, and then even more golf!
Motala Golf Club is just 5 km from Hotel Nostalgi and offers a variety of golf courses. Here, with a green card, you can play on our 27-hole course or choose one of our three different 9-hole loops. At Motala Golf Club, you will experience varied golf that requires new playing strategies for each hole. There is always an open Pay & Play course available. Start or end your round of golf with a restful sleep in our comfortable beds and recharge with a delicious hotel breakfast.

When you plan the most important day of your life, we at Hotell Nostalgi are happy to help create an unforgettable memory. We have an entire motor museum full of historic cars, which one would you want to travel in at your wedding?
Mingle and take photos among the museum’s gorgeous cars or on the pier outside the hotel. Eat a delicious wedding supper, whilst looking out over Lake Vättern and Motala Ström. More beautiful surroundings are hard to come by. Reserve the entire hotel for your guests – there are 22 beautiful rooms – and wake up to a glorious new day as newlyweds.
