Food at its best! Lovely flavors surrounded by nostalgic surroundings and with perhaps Motala’s best view of Lake Vättern and the harbor entrance.

Here we hope there is something for all tastes and preferences. One thing is certain – everything is prepared with love and care.

Daily during the summer season June-August we serve lunch 11.30-14.00 and dinner from 5 pm.

During the winter season, September-April, the a la carte is open from 17.00 Tuesday-Saturday. Other times for pre-booked parties, groups and conferences.

Daily during june-august we have open for lunch 11.30-14.00 and for dinner from 5 pm. Nice summer evenings, we bring out the grill and serve a delicious grill-inspired menu and buffet.

During september – maj we serve lunch and dinner to prebooked groups.

Our display is filled with cookies, nice sandwiches, buns, pastries, and other homemade treats.

 

Breakfast

The room rate includes a breakfast buffet each morning with steaming fresh coffee that can be enjoyed on our lovely veranda with the best location in Motala Harbour, with Lake Vättern at your feet!

  • Saturday – Sunday 7.30 am – 10 am

Lunch

Lunch is served during the summer, after which the restaurant will be open by arrangement for pre-booked groups and conferences.

Wedding & Party

3-course meal: 695 SEK/person, 2-course meal: 545 SEK/person. The set menus are available for groups of 15 or more.

Menu 1

  • Starter

    Östgötsk green pea soup with a hint of champagne. Topped with horseradish cream and hand-peeled shrimp. Served with Västerbotten cheese sticks.

  • Main Course - Option 1

    Pork loin wrapped in Parma ham, filled with cream cheese and chives. Served with white wine sauce, oven-roasted potatoes, and root vegetables.

  • Main Course - Option 2

    Whole roasted venison tenderloin with vinegar bacon and cognac gravy. Served with onion and apple compote, along with potato and Jerusalem artichoke gratin.

  • Dessert

    Orange and Grand Marnier parfait. Served with strawberry compote and almond flakes.

Menu 2

  • Starter

    Vätternrunda (double-fried salmon and shrimp toast). Topped with citrus arugula.

  • Main Course - Option 1

    Butter-fried perch fillet with bacon-wrapped green asparagus, paprika butter sauce, and duchess potatoes.

  • Main Course - Option 2

    Whole-roasted veal tenderloin with butter and thyme sautéed carrots, port wine sauce, and Maximpotatis (a type of potato dish).

  • Dessert

    Chocolate mousse flavored with Xanté. Topped with pear and passion fruit salsa.

Menu 3

  • Starter

    Chèvre cheese toast topped with pear, honey, walnuts, and arugula. Served with Parma ham.

  • Main Course - Option 1

    Pan-fried trout fillet with butter-fried fennel, dill and roe hollandaise sauce. Served with almond potatoes.

  • Main Course - Option 2

    Medium-rare lamb tenderloin with Provençal vegetable skewers. Served with thyme-seasoned red wine sauce and potato cake.

  • Dessert

    Mocha and Baileys parfait. Served with strawberry compote and almond flakes.

We can also assist in arranging the reception after the ceremony in our tastefully decorated venues, where a calm and atmospheric environment contributes to a dignified and personal farewell.
